Biography

Graham Archer is a Grammy-nominated London-based producer, engineer and vocal producer. He has over ten years experience in the music business and credits that span a wide variety of styles and genres. Graham's clients include icons Madonna, ShakiraLana Del ReySeal, Jeff Beck, and Sam Smith.

Graham graduated with a first class honours degree (BSc) and masters degree (MA) in Music Technology before starting his career in 2004 as an assistant at the world-renowned Sarm Studios in West London.

He cut his teeth on Madonna's eleventh studio album 'Hard Candy', Duran Duran's 'Red Carpet Massacre''Evolver' by John Legend and The Police's 'Certifiable', before working his way up to engineer for studio owner and Grammy Award-winning producer Trevor Horn. Graham worked with Trevor for five years both in the UK and America on projects such as Seal 'Soul II', Robbie Williams 'Reality Killed The Video Star', Olly Murs 'Olly Murs' and 'Fly From Here' by Yes, before gradually working on his own projects and becoming chief in-house engineer.


During his time at Sarm Studios Graham engineered for high profile artists Take That, Robbie Williams, The Prodigy, Pharrell WilliamsEllie Goulding, Massive Attack, Kanye WestJustin Timberlake, TimbalandJessie J and Juanes amongst others. 

In 2009 Graham received a Grammy for his work on Mary Mary 'God In Me' produced by Warren Campbell in the category of 'Best Gospel Song', and recorded and mixed a key track for the 2010 World Cup Opening Ceremony, Siphiwo N'Tshebe's 'Hope'.

From 2011 - 2013 Graham worked closely with Outsiders boss Amanda Ghost to help develop artists Laura Welsh, Joel Compass and Lion Babe. He had a diverse role taking care of vocal production, mixing and bridging the gap between studio and live shows by MD'ing rehearsals and performances.

Between 2013 - 2014 Graham was based at The Matrix Studio Complex working with Grammy Award-winning songwriter / producer Fraser T. Smith where he recorded and mixed records for Sam Smith, Lily Allen, Bipolar Sunshine and The Kooks.


Since going freelance Graham has worked on Birdy's 'Beautiful Lies', Markus Feehily's 'Fire', Cheryl's 'Only Human', The Overtones' 'Good Ol' Fashioned Christmas', Jeff Beck's 'Live +', Chi's EP 'Burns & Bridges', the Children In Need charity single 'Wake Me Up' (UK no.1 single) and with Grace
